Reiki - Universal Life Energy
Reiki is a self-healing technique for stress reduction and relaxation that was developed in 1922 by Dr Mikao Usui in Japan. It creates many beneficial effects that include stress reduction, relaxation, feelings of peace, security and well-being. It is a simple, natural and safe method of self-improvement. Reiki treats the whole person including body, mind, emotions and spirit.
On a physical level, Reiki helps to release blockages, toxins, and relieve pain. You will develop greater awareness of your body's needs.
On a mental level, Reiki will help you to clear your mind and become more aware of your thoughts. You will learn that you can consciously make a decision whether the thoughts are serving you or not.
On an emotional level, Reiki can help you to get in touch with the depths of your emotions and cultivate more positive emotions, such as love, compassion, kindness, connection, intimacy and more.
On a spiritual level, Reiki can help you to love and accept yourself. To have self-compassion and compassion for others. It can help you to connect with the divine and help you to feel that you are a part of something larger.
What does the session look like?
When you arrive, you first sit comfortably in an armchair, close your eyes, feel the ground under your feet and the gentle smell of incense.
After such an introduction, we begin the conversation, usually about 15 minutes. If necessary we adjust the time to your needs. You take a sip of tea on the table in front of you before answering the question "how do you feel and what do you come with?".
When the readiness for the topic that brought you to me appears, we begin the Reiki session. You lie down on the Reiki table, I cover you with a soft blanket. You close your eyes, possibly turn off your intellect and give voice to your soul, body and heart. The session takes about 40-45 minutes.
Afterwards we sit down and talk for a few minutes about what you will leave with, what you can take along. From time to time I give exercises that strengthen you on your path.
